He's an incredible actor, I hope one day, sooner rather than later, he can feel comfortable getting the help he needs for depression.

I think he associates too much change to anti depressants. I’m on Wellbutrin and the changes are minor definitely less than I would’ve liked but the side effects in comparison to other meds are as well so

Not to be contrarian, and I totally believe you, but I've definitely seen absolutely radical, life changing results with at least two dear friends after they started Wellbutrin. IMO It's so dependent on individual chemistry and neurology. Sometimes meds can a good fit, but not the best fit. That same 'just good' fit might feel tailor made for someone else.

No no I totally agree and I’ve heard the same from other people. I just hoped it would be the same for me bc all other meds did was make me sleepy.

I can relate. I’ve had a similar experience with medication. I’m staying on them but my psychiatrist thinks I’ve reached a place where doing clinical treatment or continued therapy will be more helpful than trying new meds. When I first started welbutrin it was a nice kick in the butt but now it and Prozac don’t really put me where I ultimately want to be. Starting emdr soon, so crossing my fingers for that!

Idk this man but I’d like to give him a hug. Obviously I know that won’t fix anything but reading about him feeling lonely and in pain made me sad.
