A Complete Unknown is set for release on Christmas Day, and Searchlight has started to ramp up the promo by releasing a video set to the film's version of Bob Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues". It features Timothée Chalamet in character as Bob Dylan remaking the iconic video for the song

Who started the trend where the ACTOR does the singing in these music biopics? Joaquin in Walk The Line? It's so often a mistake.

I was a little worried about the vocals, but this particular song really works for me! My parents didn't own all of Dylan's records or anything, but they did play the hell out of the Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits album, so I am very familiar with this song, and I'm impressed.

Just peeked at the Bob Dylan subreddit to see what they think, and overall the impression seems pretty positive, which is cool.

Regardless of the role, he always looks like a 15 year old boy. I can just image how much more insufferable he'll be once he wins the Academy Award for this (because it has OSCAR BAIT written all over it).
