My favorite book in maybe like 4th grade was about two brother cats that go on an adventure, called The Grand Escape. I loved it so much and read it over and over. I kind of want to find it again and see if adult me can still connect with it.

Menswear tweets too much but he is savage

It's very well known but I was so deeply moved by Bridge to Terebithia in 4th grade which looking back is so funny because as an adult I do not process grief very well. But when I was in middle school I read this teen "thriller" book about this girl who receives (sends?) these poison pen letters and I don't remember the name but the cover was really distinctive and had letters cut out of magazines. It was lowkey terrifying
