I'm a FM fan since 1979 and I hear some things, too. They hadn't spoken for quite some time, but there wasn't bad blood between them. John McVie was with Christine, when she died he hold her hand. I'd guess noone wanted Stevie there, mainly because her being seen would have activated some press and perhaps also because of her habbit to make everything about herself. Still - they'd been really good friends for decades.
