I completely agree with the comments pointing out how women over a certain age are often cast as grandmothers or sidelined. It’s frustrating, and the double standard is obvious. That said, I’m honestly surprised by how many of the comments about Chris Hemsworth’s casting are so ageist. Sure, he’s 41, and I understand that could factor into the story they want to tell. But does that mean he’s automatically too old to play Prince Charming? I think there’s room to challenge these expectations.

Admittedly, I tend to be an optimist, even after being on ONTD since the early 2000s, so maybe I’m giving them too much credit. But if I’m wrong, I’m wrong! lol
