I have a hard time watching because I have an irrational dislike of her! I don't know where it came from. I remember being so ugh when she showed up in This Is Us! I need to look at her IMDb

I was into the first season (love me some wilderness small town shows where the doctors are called “doc” by literally everyone) but I got bored after that. Maybe I’ll give it another go. Or rewatch Northern Exposure. Going to see if Men in Trees is streaming somewhere.

same for me. that kind of premise is one of my faves and I was into the first couple seasons but I got bored with Virgin River around the 3rd season when it got to be too much about the townies.

See, I would have liked more about the townies! But I was over the romance/drama between Melinda and Jack pretty quickly because the manufactured drama to keep them apart was uninspiring. I was more into the “will they/wont they” between Doc and Hope.

yeah true, Hope got on my nerves a fair bit at times but the parts between her and Doc were really cute.

the fact that seven seasons is the longest for netflix is just plain sad, they gotta let their shows breathe a bit more. i do enjoy this lighthearted melodrama which looks like it costs pennies to make (and also actually releases on an annual basis, if not sooner) compared to some of the garbage movies netflix release, so good on them
