Lol I remember someone posted a very detailed timeline of their alleged beef on the Fauxmoi subreddit back in 2022. I think something dramatic must've happened behind the scenes because Spielberg and Rita Moreno posed for photos with Ariana at the Oscars but not with Rachel, and apparently Spielberg's daughter also unfollowed Rachel around the same time.
Reading the post on Fauxmoi, Ariana may or may not be a Zionist, so maybe that has something to with Spielberg supporting her vs Rachel, who's been pretty outspoken on Palestine?
I would love for him to have a Jackie Chan-esque career where he can transition from stunt choreo to action movies and then serious dramas and also maybe do some romcoms (so many of the asian actors have been denied this chance even though we're all thirsty for more romances with charming/hot leads). I haven't gotten over that Wong Kar Wai-esque scene from EEAAO and we need more of that.
