Already saw and liked Anora. I think it's been a little overhyped, but I would still highly recommend.

I definitely want to get to Exhibiting Forgiveness this weekend. It has a great cast, and I just checked Metacritic - it's got an 81. Excellent.

We've got tickets to Dune 2 in IMAX on Sunday - they brought it back for a brief run in LA for awards voters, I think, and we are taking advantage of that.

Will probably watch Woman of the Hour at some point, too.

Last night, we rewatched Bell, Book, and Candle - our local theater ran it as part of a series on witches, and I'd never seen it on the big screen before. Still love it!

I agree. What is not being overhyped though is Mikey Madison. All the praise she’s getting is so deserved. I don’t think she’s getting enough recognition.

Could not agree more, she is incredible! Just absolutely becomes that character. [Spoiler (click to open)]I was legit sobbing at the end with her.

Gonna see Smile 2. I really did not care for the first movie, but the second one looks so much better/more interesting.

I thought the first was better personally.

Michael Keaton looks like a burn victim.

Seeing Anora on Sunday w/ Sean Baker Q&A -- if Letterboxd had a sound like Grindr, all the phones would be going ding-dong-ding like crazy bc it will 100% be THAT kind of audience. Including me. 👀

Tonight is We Live in Time; I'm kinda more interested in Rumours, but this is better showtime-wise. I'll get to that one soon. WLiT doesn't quite seem like my thing, buuuut I love those 2 sfm.

Will def check out Woman of the Hour soon. I wish more people saw Alice, Darling, it was really remarkable.
