Watching Bisan’s videos since the last horrific terrorist attack by Israel has been absolutely heartbreaking. She looks so drained and has given up hope on humanity. I loved seeing her smiling face for a while - she had some fight left in her, seemed cautiously excited at the support by the world. But, it’s gone now.
oh. my. god. i just watched s20 of project runway all star bc somehow it's on youtube and suggested to me. one of the contestants was rami kashou and his palestinian and he kept talking about the oppression he experienced. and he was close with siriano. even saved by siriano when he was eliminated. it's so annoying. how people could be like that.
ugh but it reminds me that one of my clients is an embassy of a country that supported (or still supports) genocide 😣
Yeah, I tried to tell myself he was just being diplomatic since he’s a designer and she was wearing one of his creations. But, it’s not like he’s a newbie in the business. He could’ve skipped her as a client, yet he didn’t. And all the selfies with them… ugh.
I lost any respect I had for him (and I truly enjoyed his work on PR back in the day/loved that he dressed plus size celebs when no one else did).
