As a 90s kid I don't know how I missed The Story of a Seagull and the Cat Who Taught Her to Fly - that would have been perfect for kid-me. :O

Immediately adding that to my reading list.

we're re-reading it right now to mini-me
But also she plays Hollow Knight with her dad (like a sugarcoated version of it)

Side note: he wrote the book for his daughter iirc

I loved "The Egypt Game" but depending on the age that can be too dark for really littles.
