Based on this episode's previously on, I went and rewatched last episode because of Howard's gasping… I was not disappointed. The show has picked up for me from last episode, although I'm not sure how I feel about the reveal at the end of this episode because I feel there's been no build up? (Again, I kind of had this show on as background until the episode where they were filming them illegally.)
This episode did feel like filler, and as someone who doesn't care about Dudenoff, whatever. I would've liked it if Howard was here because he did do a lot of the legwork.
Gave this series a chance and the story is fun, steve and turtley club are phenomanal, but Selena is so boring and flat so far halfway during season 2. She has a few moments, but overall she's out played by pretty much everyone else in the cast. If she doesn't improve by season 3 I'm astounded she got nominated for an emmy. 99.9% of the time her character is deadpan. I get that it's a sense of humor but there is no charisma there to be drawn to as other deadpan humorists. She just looks and seems bored most of the time.
Tbh this is my favorite season but that’s because I am not really invested in the murders as I am in characters and characters have been so funny and cute this season and jokes were so on point.
