"Hey where are the daily Nobel Prize posts?" said no one. I had a busy week last week and wasn't able to do the daily posts, so here's a round up for the nerds who care. Let's go! ( All the winners are under the cut. )
not sure if you saw the discourse about the "Physiology or Medicine: Victor Ambros, Gary Ruvkun" one. but it was argued why not Rosalind Lee also not recognized. it seems like she was big contribution to Ambros work that got awarded (and is his wife - RA in his lab turned wife) where them sharing the prize sounds like no one would bat an eye but leaving her off has people questioning it.
almost cried when a friend msg'd me about han kang's win!! human acts was everything to me. i'm so excited that i won't have to be struggling to read her books in french bc surely this means more will be translated to english!
