For the first time ever I have stopped watching a Housewives city. I stopped watching RHOC bc it is just too dark,cut throat and toxic for me. The fandom for this city was the biggest catalyst for me to stop watching this season tbh. I find it more rabid than any other city. I'm not even somebody who will blame the cast issues on Tamra. I gind them all to be acting really off-putting this season. So I have said goodbye to Orange County. I won't even be watching the reunion.

They are downright crazy and the OC fandom dont even hold a candle to them.

I have. I think had NJ not been canceled after the latest season, I would've gotten to the same point with it. There's something about OC that is just unwatchable to me now.

Tbh I think.miving forward, any current Houswife should be banned from going on podcasts,have their social media posts when their show is airing greatly monitored and not be allowed to engage with the fandom. It's made everything way too parasocial on both ends. And imo that's ruined the franchise.

I agree with them not doing tweets/social media about the show during the show. Its annoying.

But NJ isnt canceled and the fandom is still crazy.

What's given me pause on believing this (other than him bringing her kids and John Jansen into it) is that this contradicts what has been said about her behavior in the past. It's mentioned in the Diamonds and Rose book how she wouldn't just make food for the party guests at her house, but would feed the crew too. And that's not a book where I think people would lie about a housewife's behavior.

I stopped watching RHOC. I just get recaps and updates on YouTube and Twitter. I can't handle Tamra. She should've stayed fired.

I’m actually doing my first proper RHOC watch, currently on season five and woof! This show is a lot.

But I have seen some seasons and read a bit about the drama with Alexis, Shannon, and John and it’s just nasty to say you hope someone’s child suffers is like dark and weird.

I mean, he was way harsh but she very much still remains awful, immature, impulsive, and a total clumsy mess. A bunch of republican messes.
