Is Joanna Gaines not a permanent judge?

I miss being able to roller skate. In middle school there was a rink that was the cool place to be on Friday nights.

I have been tempted to invest in a pair but I don’t know where I’d be able to do it.

I watched it because I was curious. I enjoyed it but not enough to keep watching. Going to the roller rink was so much fun. It was a great place to hang with friends.

Chip and Joanna Gaines pretending to be less homophobic for a paycheck they don’t even need.

Stop hiring Johnny Weir for things. I don't care if it's skating or Eurovision, he is objectively annoying.

David Zazlov has truly ruined max. Goodbye event television and hello to whatever the hell this shit is. I'm sure the shoppers of hobby lobby will love it. *sighs in proud snob*

If you’re referring to wypipo, the five teams that competed in the first episode had a lot of POC. There was one team from Texas that was entirely white, but there were also two teams that were all POC.

I know several adults who are roller skating performers and almost all of them are POC, so I was happy to see that the teams on this show reflect that diversity (so far anyway - there are five more teams next week).

Oh no no, I was just trying to make a point about how this type of show is basically the exact opposite of what was put out on HBOmax before the switch to MAX. David Zaslov (the head of Warner, Discovery, HBO, Cnn, etc) took the quality of HBO from event TV like The Wire, Barry, Somebody Somewhere, Succession, etc and switched it with a roller skating competition show and reality stuff from Discovery networks. He did so because he thought HBO was too pretentious and wanted to appeal to a different demographic (which is why I said Hobby Lobby shoppers). I wasn't commenting on the roller skaters themselves, who I'm sure are awesome. Also, not against shows like this, it's just amazing how much HBO has changed in such a short period of time. This feel like ABC type programming, not HBO.
