Absolutely horrific. I’m glad her mom believed her and took steps to protect the kids from him.

Many women do not believe their children when they speak out about abuse or will side with the abuser so I commend her mom for taking immediate action

I commend her mom for taking action, but sadly I think she immediately knew it was true cause her mom (Andrea Kelly) was also assaulted sexually and physically by R. Kelly.

my first thought as well. abuse is awful either way, but seeing stories of women who sided with their abusive partners in detriment of their own children completely breaks me.

Buku is so brave to come forward - I believe her and I'm glad her mom did too.

I hope she has a strong support system with much love around her.

Poor woman, I wish her healing and comfort, and all the flowers for her mother for protecting her children from a monster.

As always R Kelly should continue to rot until he's old and infirm and then, finally, I suppose he can die.

I know that it shouldn’t matter if she’s his daughter or not, it’s horrible either way. But there is just something so viscerally disgusting about a father doing this to his daughter. I flinched seeing that headline.
