lol you could not have timed this post better, i just finished watching the episode! [Spoiler (click to open)]i felt so bad for Jaden, absolutely nothing went right for him, but also man he is his own worst enemy with time management.
and Arvin! i love him, but i wouldn't have been mad about Melisa getting star baker either, her show stopper was something else...has any other Bake Off ever had a bake that actually floated???
I agree about Jaden. I liked his commitment to using native ingredients but he had a huge problem with time management this week.
I have enjoyed Arvin's flavors since the first week so I loved seeing him do so well this week.
I had to laugh when Melisa said she was coating her boat in chocolate in the hopes of helping it float. When I took physics in high school, we had to create boats using only wood and paper and in order to pass, we had to sit in the boat and get it all the way across the competition length pool. Although my team were confident in our boat design, we decided to spray paint it in the hopes in case we needed a little extra time getting across the pool.
like what even happened in the signature? i know he kept them in the freezer for longer to make sure they kept their shape but bruv wasn't even half done? Molly had to step in? i think if a 16yo had to come help me i would have damn well eliminated myself lmao
and lol was Melisa in your physics class by any chance? because that thing was rock solid. someone was CLEARLY paying attention in school.
also finding this season a rough watch cus of Cal. i think i remember reading she only filmed four episodes and Natalie hosts the rest on her own? god i'm gonna be a mess.
Yes, I read that Cal only filmed four episodes so next week is probably the last time we will see her. I can’t imagine how devastating it must have been for the cast and crew to keep filming the rest of the season without her.
