I haven’t seen the Parisian reaction to Texas but I have seen the Parisian reaction to the East Coast. My Parisian relatives are obsessed with Burlington Coat Factory and my uncle bought 10 pairs of pants to bring back to Paris. He doesn’t know much English but he kept repeating “so cheap! Everything in Paris is expensive!” My Parisian friend’s eyes popped out when she walked into Target and saw a giant container of cheese puffs. Then she bought it and ate it all herself. Also, she kept asking how far away Montana was because she heard they have a lot of horses there and she wanted to cosplay as a cowgirl.

And that was just the East Coast. Everything is bigger in Texas. I think Parisians would have a ball in Paris, Texas!
