Oct 09, 2024 03:08

For more than half a century, the major party candidates for president have sat down with 60 Minutes. This year, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump accepted our invitation. Unfortunately, last week Trump canceled.

Anyway, at least my country, as powerless and insignificant as we are, actually did something right for once:

It would be so easy to have a better answer on Palestine, but she continues to disappoint.

I can't wait for this election to be over.

I’ve seen a bunch of astrologers saying this and that there’s gonna be another attempt on 45. Maybe Milton is taking him out somehow.

Every time she talks about the genocide and guns I just hate her more and more.

Yes, yes, I’ll vote for her genocidal ass because Trump is worse. But, god, I fucking hate her.

Imo the post election period needs to be the start of a massive protest movement to get her to move. She needs to get in, but the left needs a show of force in a way that her win is not

This is something that needs to happen, but it just won’t. Americans as a whole are not good at uniting for a cause and there’s just so much in-fighting within the political parties.

The politicians on both sides will be supporting Israel forever, unless it magically dissolves.

If I wanted a Republican in office or in power, I would have voted for them! Democrats are perpetual losers who continually insist Republicans are fascists that want to take away our rights, while also saying how proud they are to have them in their administration. https://t.co/ymSrbh3Jd9

I don't see what the issue is? Appointing a republican in the cabinet is a strategic move aimed at broadening her appeal for voters. I mean the goal right now is to not have Donald Trump in office, so if this particular call for bipartisanship/governing for all Americans appeals to a few people, then so what?

It's literally just going to be something like Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger for the VA.

Republicans who are anti-Trump still voted with his agenda like 90% of the time. So, I’d rather not have them be in the cabinet making decisions that could negatively impact my life.

They won't be making decisions, they will be offering their opinions.

Lincoln's entire Cabinet was made up of not just the other side, but rivals.
