I enjoyed the first movie, but it didn't strike me as something that needed a sequel.

the outfits match the need for this movie

Lukas Gage's suit was made/tailored for someone who died in 1905. It's just so ugly and ill-fitting.

It set itself up for a sequel with the ending though.

Just a shame this one seems to be barely featuring Kyle Gallner’s character.

Wow, she looks so different with short hair. I don't understand her outfit at all, especially whatever is happening on the sleeve? But imo she still looks good

I watched the first one on the weekend and the whole time all I could think was how bad that main chick was at her job - like she was supposed to be a highly trained professional working in a mental health emergency place and she just stood there and watched someone cut their own throat? There were other examples of her ineptness too, but I’ve forgotten them already.

It seemed like a bit of a rip off of Fallen.

To be fair, it was hardly a normal situation. The demon seems to paralyse it’s victims.

A place like that would be used to not normal crisis situations, though. I didn’t pick up on the demon stopping them if that’s what’s happening though, so fair point.

It’s just a theory. Because of the supernatural element (the creepy smiling that doesn’t look at all natural), it just seemed to me like they were stuck in place (same with her ex-bf at the end). I can’t recall if it said anyone else tried to intervene with the others who were possessed either. It seemed like everyone involved would just stand and watch.
