Woooow. I had way too much going on recently and hadn’t heard Huckabee’s quote about Kamala needing to be “humbled”.

I want y’all to understand that that quote isn’t just a benign political statement bc she doesn’t like Kamala. That is full blown racism. It means Black women, South Asian women, and any woman who doesn’t look like Sarah, should stfu and be grateful we’re allowed to exist in this country. I know why Kamala didn’t get into the racist undertones and I do like her answer, all things considered, I guess.

Just know that a lot of Black people, especially those of us from the south, know “be humble” is a dog whistle for “know your place, you uppity n****”.

Yep. I live in the south and it definitely came off as racist to me. I've heard similarly things said to me & they always act like you're attacking them if you call it out. So fuck her.

all the personal criticism of her is racist. her name is stupid, she laughs too much, she laughs too loud. the humble comment was definitely a take on her "attitude"

Is this podcast really this legit and prestigious? Is this what the youths listen to??

Yeah, it’s a pretty popular podcast from what I’ve noticed, especially with people in their 20s. Her interviews tend to go viral a lot.

It gets a lot of attention from the younger people, so this was a smart move to reach a wider audience.

Prestigious? Not sure. Popular, 10000%

I remember a Tiktok (or ontd post?) that said that this podcast had so many celebrities/public figures because the host won't ever go off script from what management wants, that's why people like to go there to say what they want to say, and won't be asked any "uncomfortable" questions.

the comments on alex cooper’s socials where she showed the behind the scenes of preparing for this interview and the post on the CHD official tiktok promoting this interview were frying me. so many white women commenting “NOOOOO” and how they were so disappointed and they’re no longer fans or whatever. also, a lot of internalized misogyny asking how alex is qualified for this because she typically mostly talks about sex on the podcast.

it’s not surprising because this is THEE white woman podcast and it’s not typically political whatsoever so it definitely attracts a lot of women from all backgrounds including MAGA but the sheer amount of backlash from them was kinda startling lol. maybe I should be worried about that but I’m also just not shocked.

I don’t think much of alex cooper… she’s not a good person but this was a good get for her and her platform unfortunately does reach a ton of people so it could be good for the campaign.

I find that whenever Kamala is involved, MAGA bots jump in to pretend like they were once fans and are no longer because of Kamala lol. These people are insane.

there's a growing contingent of white women who lean conservative who are also deeply ignorant and uneducated yet think they're experts on everything because they saw a fb post or a video on rumble or read some crunchy mom's blog and they are exactly like this. and it's weird because a lot of times, its not even tied to their husbands like other conservative women. their husbands were probably already conservative, but these women radicalized themselves.

echoing the comment to be mindful of bots! i notice them mainly on YT but they’re everywhere. in the first few hours or days that a VP Harris video is posted it’ll get bombarded by negative bot comments.

I just don't understand MAGA's approach with this whole "you're not a real parent" thing. There are tens of millions of people who don't have kids, have step kids, adopt kids, foster kids, etc. What exactly are they trying to accomplish with these attacks lol? Kamala has to win if only to shut these losers up. They have to be beaten into the ground over and over before they finally disappear.

ia with you but i'm starting to think it's basically like a code to activate their racist misogynistic sleeper agents. since trump won the first time there's been a huge wave of really regressive misogyny and racism and i'm sure whether he wins or loses this time, it's the same idea. they're laying the groundwork for the future.

Easy, it's a eugenics argument. They think if you can't naturally give birth you're inferior and useless to the movement.

Many people don't know Project 2025 wants to make women into nothing more than baby machines. It wants to take away your right to vote, ban all contraceptives, including condoms, which will make STDs spread, and monitor your period and your pregnancy on a national database, so they will know if you get an illegal abortion.

Women who don't have kids will be relegated to childcare. Republicans want to set the US back 150 years.

Alexandra Cooper is profoundly untalented. It never ceases to amaze me when the most untalented and basic people gain such a huge platform. She’s a terrible interviewer

I've heard/read online she just asks whatever questions the guest's management says and never goes off script.

That’s exactly what she does. And scream a lot. She also apparently stole stories from her listeners after promising them anonymity and passed them off as her own. I don’t expect Kamala Harris team to know that but it bothers me that Alex Cooper just plain sucks and isn’t competent and she somehow walked into a huge platform and lucrative deals.

like most profoundly untalented people she did it by snaking and backstabbing her friend and co creator. oh and she’s white blonde and skinny
