people are saying the remake is a mess. i'm waiting for it to go on sale and get some bug fixes.

i hope other survivors show up in the sequel based on our save files or something. they could do something like lis2 and ask who survived your play through

Loved this game. I don’t really understand why it’s being remade though. I’m really hoping Hayden is ok. She’s been through so much trauma especially recently and I just hope she’s got a good support system right now cause she made me worried in that video. :(

It’s a console exclusive and all the other Supermassive games are on PC so they probably just wanted to give it a wider audience with the upcoming film.

Other than the graphics upgrade, is there anything new in the remaster version? (I did the ONTD doesn't read until I scrolled up to see the last line about the new post credit scene lol)

I did enjoy playing the original when it was on the PS4.

This is all I know: [Spoiler (click to open)]The Emily/Matt scene that was part of the original game's preorder is included. There is at least one new scene with Beth, sort of, and there are areas where the exploration is a little different. There are some different lines, but I'm not sure if they actually had the actors re-do them or if they had a lot of existing recorded lines that they could use. You can get a new ending for one of the characters. Ooo also one of the possible deaths that previously had a character deliberately getting another character killed was changed a little so that it seems more like an accident. There are hunger totems you can find, which show you the perspective of becoming a wendigo. And you can get a post-scene with Sam.

might be an unpopular opinion, I'm not sure, but I really dislike the idea of choice-based games being adapted to live-action. how are they going to avoid canonizing certain decisions over others?

the remake looks good. I don't like the changes to jess's hair but everything else looks good.
