I’m a casual fan but friends who are avid fans agreed and loved Evanna as Luna. I could see Saoirse being Luna but def a different take. Or she’d give in to whatever the studio wanted.

I don't understand how everyone seems to love the Harry Potter cast so much when only a few actors were really perfectly cast for the role. Maggie Smith and Richard Harris were amazing. The worst was Oldman for Sirius, I will never get over it

Most of the adults were woefully miscast because of how aged up they were. Alan Rickman, as perfect as he was, was so much older than Snape should’ve been when you consider Lily and James were 21 when they died, which would make Snape like early 30s at the start of the series?
