This show is becoming one of my favorite portrayals of witches in fiction

Jen was probably bound by a traumatic event. There's a long history of midwives/women healers being witch hunted by male doctors.

Shotgunned through the first four episodes this week. I was not expecting to enjoy this series as much as I have been, but it feels like it's striking the correct balance between cartoonishly over the top hiding real pain/anxieties of these women. I feel like they could do more with Patti but that may be because I never expect understated from her so it's weird to have Kathryn and Aubrey gleefully chewing every piece of scenery while Lilia just in the background being judgmental or taking over snark duties from Jenn.

Aubrey's performance kinda reminds me of Drusilla from BtVS. Same kind of maniacal "am I fun nuts or scary nuts in this moment" energy.

this is a fun watch for me i’m loving all the characters and im happy to have a cast full of women and their little gay son! AND IM LOVING THE OUTFITS EVERY EP EVERY DECADE, they all just look so beautiful especially jennifer the hair on her! muah perfection
