I didn't get the hype over him back in the 2000's. Didn't watch the OC, saw his other work but nothing stood out.

After watching Nobody Wants This, I totallllly get it. How they wrote the character, I don't think anyone else could have played him. He's a softie but can lead when the time comes. That's all us gals want lol

I actually liked Kristen Bell in it too for the most part. I worried from the trailer she'd be playing a similar character to Veronica Mars/Eleanor Shellstrop, but I think she played a much more openly vulnerable woman in this role, with more noble goals. Still some hard edges, but I think the characters complimented one another. I like that she pushed him to be more open about his feelings and fears, and he pushed her to have faith in other people and like herself a little more - super healthy romantic growth.

But yeah, Hot Rabbi was nearly at Hot Priest levels of hot and charming lol (my sister was texting me that this was a gentler Jewish Fleabag with Hot Rabbi+sister conflict). Just slightly less taboo and sexy misuse of sacraments lol.

I was going to skip it because of KBell as well, but everyone is convincing me to give it a go. I like Adam. Do I like him enough to ignore her? (Yes.)

This video just showed me Kristen knows nothing about him whatsoever lol which I didn’t expect her to but it’s still funny to me.
