I know Shelly Duvall's treatment during The Shining was awful, but she was truly phenomenal in it, fuck Kubrick and anyone who criticized her.

I know her performance was short, but Drew Barrymore's first 10 minutes in Scream, she was iconic.

Of course Kathy Bates was amazing in Misery, but I also wanna give props to James Caan, part of what made the movie so compelling was seeing these characters/actors play off each other.

samara weaving!! she's so good in Ready or Not, it's such a fine line to walk in a horror comedy and she does it like it's nothing

toni and florence should have been ba nominees for hereditary and midsommar tbh. also mikey madison in scream 5 was honestly a delight.
