Chappell had the best fan base up until whatever festival was after Coachella (Lollapalooza?) and it’s just been fucking awful since. I am positive at least half of these dingbats aren’t even fans but instead just love to yell at a bunch of femmes and thems.

To be honest, it just seems like kind of a side effect of being propelled to fame by a very online tiktok audience. Plus when things happen so quickly, you don't have the normal filtering mechanisms that can weed some of the fan behavior that you don't want out.
