Pitchfork made a top with the best 100 songs of the 20’s so far, since we’re arriving to the half of the decade. Naming Lana Del Rey as having the best song so far, “A&W” from the 2023 album,

It's a good song, but I don't think I'd place it quite so high.

Boygenius - "Not Strong Enough"
Big Thief - "Vampire Empire"** (probably my pick for #1)
Caroline Polachek - "Bunny is a Rider"

Cardi & Megan - "WAP"
Wet Leg - "Chaise Lounge"

Missing a ton of great stuff (Haim being the most egregious omission for me), and some weird picks for other artists (Charli, Chappell), but I do love list overviews in general. Women really are dominating this decade musically and I love it.
