Robert Eggers’ NOSFERATU is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.

So far the marketing has refrained from actually showing the Count's appearance in detail, which is cool.

Why did I think Robert Pattinson would be in this one? Like, I thought he was Nosferatu lmao

He was offered the role Nick Hoult eventually played, back in 2017. He turned it down, telling Eggers that it wasn't weird enough, but he still wanted to work with him. So Eggers went off and wrote The Lighthouse script, gave it to Pattinson who said, yeah, this is it.

Before Hoult, Harry Styles was cast in the role. Anya Taylor Joy has said she wanted to do it with Pattinson and she's still hoping they can work together.
