So the deal is THAT much for movies that individually are supposed to cost that little? Hmmm... I don't know how these streaming movie deals work. Is part of the deal paying Johnson and his partner for staying at Netflix to do more of these movies instead of a one and done or going to another streamer or distributor?

not thrilled about some of that cast but i'll probably check this out when i'm in the mood for some mindless fun. i know daniel's accent/performance divides opinions but i love how he embraces the tackiness and ridiculousness of the character, i usually appreciate an actor who knows when not to take themselves too seriously.

at least i hope this is him not taking it too seriously anyways bc if it is LOL
