I cry really easily, so I'm saving this movie for when I need a good, life-affirming weep. ❤️

I am watching this right now, and my HEART.

She just told Will to help her by correcting people if they misgender her and watching him learn how to support her and actually DOING it is so good.

I work for a rainbow organisation that supports young people in schools. And I might point to this for parents who are supportive and looking for things they can do to help (though I am not all the way through) I love my job, but it's really hard some days, with this political climate (I live in NZ, but we have some nasty groups here that want to drag us back to the past). I just want to make life a little better for today's students than it was for me as a little bi kid in the fucking 90s in MONTANA.

Me too! I work mostly with kids aged 11-18, but I also work with youth-serving adults and parents and I love the idea of adding this as a resource.

All the best to you in the work you do. I know how hard but important it is.
