I had no idea she was releasing new music until a few hours before the single dropped last night. I guess this is going to be one of the songs she does on SNL in a couple of weeks. I appreciate the nod to Straight Back off of FM's Mirage album.

I'll be listening to The Fray's EP this weekend. Another case of not knowing they were coming out with new music, so this was a pleasant surprise. I'm an unabashed fan and still love and listen to their first two albums.

Her most recent single was 2022's For What It's Worth and her most recent full length was 2014's 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault. I've heard rumblings about a new album soon, but I don't know if anything official has been put out there about it.

So far today I've listened to Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk, Waxahatchee - Tiger's Blood, and RAYE - My 21st Century Blues. Three of my absolute FAV albums from the past couple years!

Gotta get back into my 'to listen' playlist... trying to clear it out before the end of the year but there's like 2k songs on there lmao. My 2024 playlist is already at like 1400..... too much good music in the world

Really enjoying the Tommy Richman! Got a very cool electro/80s vibe but with modern vocals.

Hes doing something really interesting. Recommend Seems Like Time Moves Forever.

listened to SOPHIE and pale waves and finally listening to brat all the way through because i'm pathologically opposed to doing the thing that everyone else is doing when it's popular 🤪

i've been reading the r/popheads thread about SOPHIE and i have a few thoughts and feelings but mostly i just miss her.
