I was definitely uncomfortable with how he portrayed the brothers in such a exploitive way. Such as all the topless shots, exercise shots etc

People are really bent out of shape over something that is like very lightly, in my opinion, hinted at (the two second peck on the lips) and ultimately played out as unreliable since every episode seems to come from a different perspective. I also don't understand the criticism that they came off too sexy in certain parts or whatever, when I remember back in the day there truly being a mania about how hot they supposedly were and even now there seems to be a whole slew of mostly female fanatics absolutely thirsting over them in the guise of some justice for them. I don't think anyone is ultimately leaving the series thinking they were monsters and found it quite sympathetic to them and the consequences of a devastating cycle of abuse.
