I love gaga and love the whole batman universe and the joker but i wasn't excited but now I am! And also can't wait for the companion album! Def seeing this movie in a movie theater!

I love that 2 of Batmans major properties this year (this and Penguin) find various things about the Bat characters to unrealistic.

Somehow her wearing what looks like costumes from the movie isn't working for her the way it did for Margot and Barbie.

Love the harlequin tights, hate the exaggerated shoulders trend. That make-up is a bit much as well.

Came to say the same thing - but I do kind of get the vibe it’s pulling the character through into real life. At the end of the day Harley was basically mentally ill herself in the comics (plus an abuse victim, but that’s another topic), which I think a lot of people don’t realise because she been sexualised as a quirky bimbo in most adaptations.

So maybe this is actually doing its job? The looks are kind of giving escaped crazy lady off her meds who has tried to make couture gowns out of whatever is lying around in her delusion.

Like I get similar vibes to the mom in Requiem for a Dream in some ways.
