I haven't read the book but yes it was shit lol. It was giving Lifetime movie on a slightly higher budget and the whole 'wow we have a daughter now so I suddenly understand that abuse is bad' aspect was gross.

The only good bit was that Owen Hunt is dead in it.

It was more that it was the guy realising that - like him suddenly only understanding it because he thinks about his daughter growing up to be hit and raped by someone. Reminds me of when men are like 'as the father of daughters!!'
