too true. i don't have any voice recordings of mine, but even remembering how she said certain things can make me stop in my tracks sometimes.

that excerpt from the intro is quite beautifully written and moving. i don’t read many memoirs and i can’t say i know a whole lot about lisa marie presley but i do think i will check this one out.

this was all so touching. riley comes across as a very sensitive person and it’s lovely that she’s able to honor her mother with the finished memoir.
