It's always sad news when informed of the loss of a wanted baby, especially when the moms are so excited to tell us.

My maternal line is known for someone in each generation getting pregnant in their 40s and there are legends of babies born when women were in their 50s as well. My own grandma started in her teens and had her last baby in her early 40s (tbf, she was also from the silent generation and that's just How Things Were for her)

My great grandmother was in her 50's when she had my grandmother and her sister. Her doctor thought she couldn't get pregnant. They were considered miracles.

I know it sounds awful, but she said she reversed menopause thanks to natural remedies. I doubt that's possible

Pretty sure it's not possible to reverse menopause. If she was actually pregnant she more than likely did not go through menopause. Whether she was mistaken or lying is unknown.
