She brings up the latter in this special, too. She tells Sabrina Carpenter that if she had more say the album would’ve been filled with a lot more ballads.
She does acknowledge and appreciate the album for launching her career and she’s mentioned how grateful she is for the love the album gets.

She says the exact same things she said when she was 17 in interviews. Everything about her is the same. She can even recall almost perfectly what she was going through when fame started to really hit her. She's stuck there lol
She's always seemed pretty content though. Ignorance is probably bliss, in this case.

She has gone through a divorce, has had two children, got fat shamed every single day for years, had hate campaigns out on her. And yet she has always taken the punches and rolled on with it and never had a breakdown like so many of her peers.
If you ever actually listen to her she gives insight to her life every now and then. She is still a phenomenal vocalist, her Spanish album was really good so she still has the artistic drive.
She stays in her lane and she is happy, she is a mother of two children who prioritises her and her families privacy…. which is the best thing a celebrity of the status she accomplished can ever do and wish for.
