I still can't believe she said those things, especially considering everything speculated about Michael with the vitiligo over the decades. You'd think she'd have the sympathy to think before she speaks, but I guess it's expecting too much, especially now-a-days.

I feel like she should be the one issuing the apology, not her manager.

Agreed. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she did at a later date after the dust has settled with the sudden passing away of her brother Tito (not only were her comments offensive and insane, her timing was astoundingly bad). Her having her management release a statement this quick aligns with the way she's always handled the press. So, if she sticks to the way she used to do things, I would THINK if she addressed this herself, it would be in video form or something of the like and not in another print publication. I guess we'll see what she does or doesn't do in the next few weeks.

Also, I should add that she might be less likely to apology herself, at least right away because the last time she did it she stated she seriously regretted it. Which was when she did the apology video for the Superbowl.

OH good, I was gonna post about this in the other post. Does this just make her fuckery laden comments go away? NO. However, like I was saying in the last post, what this DOES MEAN, is that Randy is not completely in control of the narrative or her business (he's still WAY too involved though, being connected to her brothers business wise has NEVER WORKED FOR HER CAREER) and that her other close confidants (people like her creative director Gil & her Manager Mo, producers Jimmy & Terry, her bestie Tasha Smith, Missy Elliot, etc) probably called her and said WTF, GIRL. Janet has never surrounded herself with yes people so there's no way she didn't receive push back within her circle. I figured if she were "still in control" she'd say something by the end of the day Monday, but she got her team to came out and say something even faster and that is a good sign. Right now she's surely dealing with tons of stuff in relation to Tito dying, so I'm not surprised that her manager is doing this and not her. That's part of why I was wondering ( ... )

LOL yep. For a split second it looked like she might have been smart enough to NOT have Randy in charge of things, turns out he is in charge and therefore, some of this post has now aged poorly and is wrong. My comments from the last post are much more appropriate. Her aligning her business and moral opinions with Randy means that unless that changes, everything regarding her will be total fuckery from now on.
