Just got back from Beetlejuice. It was very unhinged lol but I had a good time. And damn whoever cast Jeremy was like, "yes give us Diet Joe Keery!" :P

ONTD seems like a pretty female-heavy place, so I'm curious about the reactions here to The Substance. I thought it was horrendous and completely missed the mark, no matter how good the intentions were.

It wasn’t as thought-provoking as I’d hoped it would be; it seemed very basic in its storytelling when it comes to Hollywood/beauty standards. And I felt like they borrowed a lot from Rick and Morty

I thought it was great schlock, even when it was a bit derivative. It easily could have been very slight but I think the dedication of production and Demi made it great, accessible fun. Would make an excellent double feature with The Neon Demon.
