Is there a history of Keegan coming off as salty regarding Jordan? Because he was obviously asked about him, which is going to happen, and it just sounds like he is disappointed he doesn’t see his friend and old creative partner as often as he’d like…. I don’t think there’s anything salty about what he’s saying but maybe he has come off this way in the past that I don’t know about?

I didn't read it as salty either. He sounds like someone who misses his friend and is sorry that they aren't as close as they used to be. But maybe I'm missing some context.

I do remember that photo of him celebrating when Jordan won his Oscar for Get Out going viral. He looked so thrilled for him :(

It’s the framing of this as a “tragedy” and the (Exclusive) label that have me side eyeing it a bit. Admittedly, I'm a private person who would die in Hollywood, but this is too much and too public for me.

I don’t think he comes off as salty but the subtext of him saying they don’t see each other anymore screams “We don’t talk anymore either”

Which I guess doesn’t mean anything either. I don’t really talk with a friend anymore but I still saw her in London 7 years after our last meeting and enjoyed myself
