It's very hard coming forward with the truth because you really do think some form of justice will happen and most likely it won't. So it's like walking through the fires of hell because not only are you being smacked in the face with that reality, but also there will be ppl who you thought would be on your side who won't be. And the police just being themselves and not caring. And imo therapists also don't know what to do either. It's just a lot to go through when you've already gone through this major thing. I really hope she has ppl willing to stick by her as she goes through the flames.
