i am hashtag OBSESSED! i signed the petition, i need amazon to get its shit together and give it the second season it deserves (based on what i've read, that's all it would take to finish the book).
best on-screen chemistry since kanthony, phenomenal costumes, great performances by everyone (so many great one-liners) - it has it all.

My Lady Jane was the most fun and the best chemistry (I also compare it to Kanthony) and I too hope it gets a second season though I know it's expensive so I'll just enjoy the happy ending we go at least. And write some very embarrassing fanfiction for it (considering that it is already ff lol) >.>

s1 did end at a good point, so it's not the worst cancellation in that aspect, but it's still so dumb and short-sighted considering that 2 seasons is all it would take to tell the story of the book. and the costumes are all made already, so s2 would be even cheaper, lol.
this show had/has good word-of-mouth, it just needed a little more time to build momentum. and it's a bummer the way streamers will axe any show unless it a stranger things-level immediate smash. not every show can be a smash hit, goddammit.

so glad you enjoyed the nine days queen and her horse boy! you're giving me hope that this show might still find an audience enough for it to come back, which is unlikely but fingers crossed!
truly a dramedy with A LOT of genuinely funny moments. i'm three episodes in, but i'm loving it. the ending of the third episode was BLEAK tho. i can't say for sure whether it goes into the comedy or drama emmy category until i finish watching it.
also, i watched season 5 of fargo and WOW. juno temple was so, so good. jennifer jason leigh (though she's since revealed herself to be garbage through all the pro-israel petitions she's signed) played one the best "power bitch" characters i've seen in a minute. the sin eater character was a weird addition but i really enjoy the aloof killer with a code trope, and that final episode was kinda beautiful. i wish lamorne was in it more, though.
they were great foils to each other. she was also a power-hungry, abusive manipulator, but where he was deluded by his own bullshit, she was the cold realist, so to speak. they have very few differences, it was interesting to watch them try to out-maneuver each other. just great villainy to behold, ha.
It was a great season - the episode with the puppet story made me cry. I just loved how the season was so woman-oriented (unsurprisingly, men hated it).
I was iffy about Juno as I’d only ever seen her in comedies, but she was amazing in it.
I'm all caught up on Reasonable Doubt and I am really enjoying this season so much. [Spoiler] I'm under the impression JT's oldest daughter killed him and that Shanelle is covering for her, which will be tricky for Jax and Corey to handle once they find out.
