I tried to read the book and could not get into it at all. It had a weird, snarky, trying-to-be-darkly-funny tone that just wasn’t working for me and came across as precociously try-hard. Like it was written by a smart 16 year old who was not quite as smart as they thought they were.

I like Ella Purnell though, and I like the idea of the story, so I will give this a go and see if it works better on film than in print.

LOVE Ella! I had a hard time making it through Fallout (meaning I didn't get past the first episode) because it was SO gory and violent it made me very squeamish. I need to get back into it just to support ha, she's excellent!

Ella is killing it! Was on the best season of Yellowjackets and dipped in time to be in more awesome stuff.

....I mean we don't know if this will be more awesome, but I loved Fallout.
