what do you like to have on a cheese board?? 🧀

A variety of soft and hard cheeses from a variety of regions (or not a variety if I am doing something special, like "Only cheeses from Vermont!"), an assortment of cured meats, a nice Bonne Maman jam, some grapes, some dried fruits like dates and figs, some nuts, two or three varieties of crackers and breads, and maybe some carrots. And those cured meats better be in rosettes!

Well damn, show us all up in the first comment why don't you lol. My bf and I went to Trader Joe's this morning and got some goat cheese with caramelized onions and a Stilton with apples and pears. It's nothing fancy, but we're also doing sun-dried tomatoes, veggie crackers, prosciutto, craisins, and assorted nuts.

Re: the nuts, Blue Diamond has a new Sweet Thai Chili flavor for their almonds, and it's sooo good

Well tbh I only do the board for holidays lmao - I don't make it for one person, otherwise, my cheeseboard is more so the packages on my table and I just slice as I go.

I miss Cooking with Flo, and this was a nice little hit of that. She's so goddamn charming!

I am also someone who would eat a cheese board as a main, and hers looked very good.

I am not great at picking out the cheeses myself, but I do try to do a soft/medium/hard mix. I'll usually opt for brie over blue cheese, only because my husband doesn't eat blue cheese, and then do a cow's cheddar and something else that sounds tempting. Always have to add honey, apples, and bread, and then nuts if I have them.

Those cooking with Flo IG vids she did during the pandemic were probably like the smartest (unintentional) business move she did cause I did notice she really gained a following after that.

sometimes i host just to have an excuse to make a cheeseboard just to use that as an excuse to get some of that blueberry goat cheese from trader joe's

usually also have a brie and a couple of hard cheeses, cured meats, fruit like grapes and/or sliced apples, a fruit spread, and some olives. also crackers (both wheaty and gluten free) but since i eat GF i actually got accustomed to eating charcuterie without crackers and sometimes forget to get any crackers for my guests 😳

She oozes charisma! I love watching her do videos like this.

I’m fine with any cheese board so long as it has a mixture of soft, semi-soft, and hard cheeses with good preserves or honey.
