It’s still so funny to me that Marvel went out of their way to whitewash Lillia because, presumably, she was stereotypical, only to have her MCU counterpart still be a fortune teller who can see into the future. Aka. Still a stereotype.

Really just love that Marvel continues to get away with whitewashing Romani characters while still keeping the stereotypical aspects and everyone just looks the other way.

Hmmmmm I don't agree with you that Lilia is a stereotype, but I 100% agree that the MCU has been garbage in terms of Romani rep and representing other ethnicities in general. I'm hoping they walk back Downey Jr. playing Victor, because going ahead with that would just be spitting in the face of that demographic. (Also, nobody wants this, Marvel!)

There's a comic story line where Iron Man became Dr. Doom, or the reverse (some multiverse thing) & that might be what they're going for.

I'm familiar with that arc, and ia with your hopes, but I'm just so jaded by the modern MCU trajectory that I'm expecting the worst. I would love to be proven wrong tho!!!
