TBH these days with WB-D, I am sus of Zaslav who hates cinema and this was probably his edict.

Yeah, for other studios and movies, it'd be more of a red flag for me. But for Zas, it could just be he's mad that Bong wouldn't make edits.

pretty decent trailer imo! i'm excited for this movie, hopefully that release date means bong got to keep final cut 🤞

He did, it's in his contract, and Pattinson hasn't made a film with a director who doesn't have final cut rights since 2011, and he's said he never will. All his studio films are with directors who have total creative freedom, and that includes the Batman franchise.
