i remember an interview he did while shooting this while he was campaigning for oppenheimer and he said this project was a passion project for him.

I would read the book, it’s quite shot but powerful! And even if the movie is changed (although I’d say it’s true enough to the book), it’s still a good read imho

The book is absolutely beautiful and I’m super excited for this. I don’t think it’s as straight up depressing as people might expect. It’s more angry than sad!
