And another thing coming to Max next week is I Saw the TV Glow, just a head's up!

I enjoyed I Saw the TV Glow. As a Buffy fan in my teens, this reminded me so much of leaning on Buffy the same way the teens did on the show featured in the film lol. I love that that the opening titles of the tv show within the movie were also in the same font as Buffy’s opening credits lol.

And it hardcore referenced The Adventures of Pete and Pete, with Pete and Pete making an appearance to hammer home that point LMAO.

i highly recommend reading this article after you watch civil war

and perhaps we should watch red dawn as the author suggests, to compare it to civil war. or lmao watch the fucking marvel movie sure why not

I still want to watch Black Adam sooner or later LMAO no MCU for me. At least the DCEU movies don't seem to have any actual connection so you don't have to watch 30 movies to be up to date like a fucking soap opera.

i don't think you know much background for MCU civil war, which makes it one of the good ones

The original Red Dawn scared the shit out of me as a kid. The opening with the teacher being gunned down then kids literally fighting against terrorists??

I watched Civil War last night and may join in tonight but weirdly I’m actually tired before 3am.

Dannng I literally watched this earlier today and it didn't really warrant a second watch for me but I still might join anyway just to see how everyone reacts, or if not for the second feature.

I watched this last night. It made me deeply sad and anxious, but it was interesting how quiet of a film it could be.

Can't join but curious about your opinions, not sure if there were posts about it when it came out. I watched it twice and loved the way the journey was portrayed, and despite what it could be, them trying to keep goriness to the minimum (well, it still had it but it wasn't there to torture the audience imo as it usually is). And I just loved the cast, I'm glad Cailee is getting a lot of new roles, imo she was great in it.
