Ugh, what a voice. It’s so crazy to me that his mother outlived all her kids and even a grandchild.

Definitely want to see this.

His music was always on repeat in my parents’ house growing up, he’s like family. And it goes without saying that his voice was truly special. The only other artist who I feel who could ever confidently duet with Queen Whitney. I love him and I’m excited!

It does make me sad though, this docu would’ve been a huge event for my dad and he would’ve found a way to watch together. Blech, grief 😔

Earlier this year, I got very specifically nostalgic for "That's What Friends Are For" and went down a rabbit hole watching every live performance I could find on YouTube. To be honest, they're all A+ but seeing these four legends together was amazing.

Love his music, and I Iove him. The diva stories about him crack me up. Him and Aretha feuding for a bit, the fact that he called the police on En Vogue at one of their joint shows. He was truly a character.
