Isn't this just Eat Pray Love?

In that one, she found love in Indonesia with a Brazilian guy the same age as her (actually, Javier Bardem is two years younger than Julia Roberts, so I guess almost a cougar!) and there was no cheating involved. And then the real Eat Pray Love story had the twist that she left the real version of Felipe (a dude named Jose) for her female best friend when her friend found out she was dying of cancer, but after she died, she then dated one of her now dead partners' besties who was a guy. Elizabeth Gilbert's real life had way more twists than the book/movie.

GO Laura, get the younger dude... but idk, I kind of hoped he would break up with his girlfriend and she with her husband before jumping into bed. Eh. I'm not a fan of cheating stories because I want people to do the noble thing and get out of their relationships.

Yeah, I cannot get into cheating 'romances' at all.

Tbh I don't mind a good romantic comedy at all, love them actually, but whenever I watch a Netflix one they just seem incredibly surface only. Copy of a copy. Paint-by-numbers. If they didn't have charming stars (like Laura Dern) then I might as well just read an AI-written script.
